Adidas Originals Teams With White Mountaineering For New Sneakers

An updated version of the Adidas Nite Jogger

White Mountaineering is the outdoors-inspired fashion brand of Japanese designer Yosuke Aizawa, founded in Tokyo in 2006. It is also a regular collaborator with Adidas, and in the past has helped to create a stripped-back take on the classic Stan Smith tennis shoes, and hyper-technical versions of the Terrax trail-running and hiking range.

Now it is back for the Adidas Originals x White Mountaineering Nite Jogger, available in two different colour variations and based on a running shoe originally released by Adidas back in 1980. Four decades later, the design benefits from contemporary technologies and materials.

The shoe features suede leather overlays, and mesh and textile underlays that make the upper. Reflective materials are also used, just as they were on the original Nite Jogger, for visibility at night.

One of the pairs is vibrant, with a collage of oranges, greens and reds; the other is slightly more understated, with a forest-like palette of moss greens, greys and burgundy. Both feature White Mountaineering branding on the tongue and heel, as well as the iconic Adidas stripes.

The Adidas Originals x White Mountaineering Nite Jogger is available in Adidas stores and from the brand website. Price is AED749.
