Fashion and film can move mountains – or oceans. Prada’s 2026 Re-Nylon campaign proves it. Benedict Cumberbatch and Letitia Wright aren’t just in front of the camera. They’re diving into a mission with real impact: raising awareness about the oceans and the next generation of conservationists. Partnering with National Geographic CreativeWorks, Prada is showing that luxury and responsibility can exist on the same frame.
Re-Nylon isn’t just a bag or a jacket. It’s a statement. Discarded ocean plastics, landfill waste, and recycled textiles are turned into high-performance, refined nylon. One percent of proceeds go to SEA BEYOND, Prada’s ocean literacy initiative with UNESCO. Since 2019, SEA BEYOND has reached over 35,000 students, from Japan’s Sakana-kun Exploration Team – where kids learn about marine life hands-on – to Venice’s “Kindergarten of the Lagoon,” giving preschoolers a direct connection to their ecosystem.

The campaign films take Cumberbatch and Wright across the globe – from Hawai’i’s volcanic shores to Japan’s Izu Peninsula and Kamakura. Cumberbatch moves through the water with photojournalist Elisabetta Zavoli and Sakana-kun, observing how kids’ curiosity and respect for the ocean are sparked in real time. Wright brings energy and focus, navigating reefs and workshops with intensity. The ocean is never just a backdrop – it drives the story.

This campaign proves that fashion and film can do more than look good – they can educate, inspire, and influence. Prada shows that style can carry weight, that a bag or a hat can be a tool for change, and that celebrity can amplify causes that matter.
For men who care about style but also care about the world, the 2026 Re-Nylon campaign is a blueprint: purposeful, resolute, and razor-sharp. Adventure, responsibility, and impact – all in one frame.
