From 5–9 November at Downtown Design Dubai 2025, Buccellati, the legendary Italian Maison known for high jewellery and silverware, is turning craftsmanship into architecture. For the first time in the region, the Maison will present an immersive environment created in collaboration with Beirut-born design duo David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem, translating Buccellati’s signature engraving, lacing, and metalwork techniques into space itself.
Step inside, and it’s immediately clear this is no ordinary exhibition. Two interlocking, shell-like structures, inspired by natural geometry, guide visitors into a world of layered wooden panels, mirrors, and warm, beige tones. The effect is both calming and commanding – a space that feels alive, tactile, and unapologetically refined.
One room showcases Buccellati’s silverware collections – Tahiti, Marina, Nature – arranged like art you can live with. Sculpted vessels, engraved tableware, and centrepieces occupy space with authority. The other room is more sculptural, with tiered displays that invite slow, deliberate observation. At the heart, a salon offers room for conversation – or just for taking it all in.
“We wanted visitors to experience the collection not just as objects, but as part of a living, breathing environment,” say David and Nicolas. Every curve, reflection, and material choice embodies Buccellati’s commitment to timeless elegance, inviting collectors to engage, discuss, and dwell among the pieces.
Silverware takes centre stage here, signalling presence, lineage, and domestic authority showing the Maison’s full range of craftsmanship. This exhibition is designed for men who think in decades, not days; for those who value legacy, precision, and beauty equally.
