The GCC has solidified itself as a major player in haute horologie by hosting some of the largest watch fairs outside of Europe, from Dubai Watch Week and Qatar’s Jewellery & Watches Exhibition to Jewellery & Timepieces in Bahrain. Team this with residents’ spending power and adoration of rare objects and it is a match made in horological heaven.
HOFFMAN dedicates its latest limited-edition capsule collection to the region, honouring its community of collectors and their enduring support. The American watchmaker reinvents vintage sports timepieces for the modern-day collector, incorporating codes from 1960s chronographs and racing timepieces.

The Racing 40 Mechanical GCC Collection comprises three mechanical chronographs: Dune GCC, Graphite GCC and Marine GCC, each dedicated to an element that contributes to the region’s landscape. Dune GCC, an aptly named timepiece inspired by desert landscapes, is presented in a beige colourway. Elsewhere in the collection, Graphite GCC honours the GCC’s towering skyscrapers in sleek black and grey, and the Arabian Gulf lends its deep-blue hue to the Marina GCC timepiece.
Each edition is housed in a polished-and-brushed 40mm 316L stainless-steel case and is powered by the manual-winding Seagull ST1901 chronograph movement, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. Finishing touches include Eastern Arabic numerals, a sapphire bezel, a grained dual-layer dial and an integrated FKM Rubber Strap.

This isn’t the first time HOFFMAN has dedicated a timepiece to the region. In 2025, the brand celebrated its 5th anniversary with Pine GCC, a Racing 40 Mechanical watch with a pine-green sapphire bezel. The edition marked the first time HOFFMAN had introduced Eastern Arabic numerals and a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback. The Racing 40 Mechanical GCC Collection is available on 24 September, limited to 200 pieces. Join the waitlist
