Special edition Aventador and Huracán models
Lamborghini has unveiled limited edition versions of two of its most popular cars. There is the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster, with only 63 to be built – in honour of the year the brand was founded in 1963 – and the Huracán EVO GT Celebration, which pays homage to its victories in the US at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring over two consecutive seasons, and only 36 will be made (24 + 12).
Let’s talk about the Aventador model first – a limited edition of the iconic V12 super sports car. Lamborghini’s Centro Stile design team and Ad Personam department have come up with a range of exclusive personalisation options, so yours can be different to the version shown.
Go for a matt or shiny carbon-fibre upper part, including the roof, engine air vents, windscreen rim and wing mirrors, with a new matt titanium finish on the wheels. Inside, there are three Alcantara colour schemes, featuring more carbon-fibre elements, as well as Lamborghini’s patented lightweight CarbonSkin. All 63 of the limited editions have already been sold, with delivery from 2020 onwards.
The Huracán EVO GT Celebration, meanwhile, is only available to the North American market. It’s a tribute to the Huracán GT3 EVO that triumphed at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring for two consecutive seasons in 2018 and 2019. The design evokes the livery of the GRT Grasser Racing Team, which along with Paul Miller Racing brought Lamborghini the four victories, while the racing numbers add to the sporty feel.
Alcantara features inside, with contrasting stitching in the same colour as the livery. This limited edition is also powered by the same aspirated V10 engine used in the racing car, with deliveries planned for early 2020.
