The Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is on the southern-most tip of the Baja California Peninsula
Los Cabos is a resort area at the base of the Baja California Peninsula – the long strip of land separated from the rest of Mexico by the Gulf of California. It is known for its tourism, with beachfront properties and a laid-back vibe; the perfect location for a new Nobu Hotel.
The Nobul Hotel Los Cabos is set to open in April, with a design inspired by a contemporary Japanese beach house. It is the brand’s first hotel in Mexico.
Inside are 200 stylish, ocean-view guestrooms, built using locally-sourced Mexican materials, with natural finishes. Custom-made furniture, wood-soaking tubs, shoji-inspired closet doors and Japanese lanterns complete the look, with meetings and event spaces, a luxurious spa with Natura Bissé products, a running trail, private cabanas, shops and a variety of food outlets, including a beachfront Nobu restaurant, rounding off the facilities.
The Nobu restaurant will feature many signature dishes, from rock shrimp tempura and miso black cod, to yellowtail sashimi with sliced jalapeno peppers. The hotel will also house a Malibu Farm restaurant, serving up simple, organic farm-to-table dining.
