From the reboot starring Robert Pattinson
Matt Reeves, the director of the upcoming big-screen reboot, The Batman, is on Twitter again. This time he shared a look at the sleek new Batmobile, which will be driven in the movie by Robert Pattinson, who stars as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

It’s interesting to see the different ideas at play here, compared to previous Batman movies. In the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy, Batman drove a militarised tank, while in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, he had something a bit more agile, but still with huge wheels and lots of guns.
This looks more in-line with a custom muscle car from The Fast and the Furious movies. It probably has more in common with the modified 1955 Ford Lincoln Futura of the Adam West TV show from the 1960s than anything seen recently in cinemas.
We’ll have to wait until next summer when the movie is finally released to find out more. In addition to Pattinson, The Batman stars Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
See The Batman in cinemas in June 2021.
