Due to open early in 2020, this luxury retreat can be found on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River, otherwise known as the River of Kings. The 101-key property is Capella’s first urban hotel in Thailand, with a 350m riverside setting, giving each villa and suite unobstructed views. The signature restaurant is curated by celebrated Michelin chef Mauro Colagreco, while the spa, Auriga Welless, offers a wide range of Asian-inspired therapies. You’ll need to get to the Greek island of Rhodes, and also wait until the opening date of May 2020, for a stay at the Lindos Grand Resort & Spa – but with ocean views and wraparound infinity pools, it’ll be worth the effort. Poland’s capital is evolving into a vibrant travel destination, with nearly a dozen hotels set to open in 2020 alone.
