Gentleman Givenchy Adds Eau de Parfum Boisée To Its Line-Up

The fourth fragrance in the range

Givenchy’s Gentleman collection continues to expand. The first fragrance was introduced in 1974, then brought back in 2017, and quickly followed by Gentleman Eau de Parfum in 2018, and Gentleman Cologne in 2019.

Now we have Gentleman Givenchy Eau de Parfum Boisée, composed by master perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp, just like the line’s three previous creations. Boisée is a scent in three stages: it opens with spicy contrasts of black pepper, coriander and geranium, while the heart is dominated by the elegance of iris, combined with cedarwood and the warmth of cocoa. Sandalwood, patchouli and burning woods create the base of the fragrance.

The bottle, meanwhile, is inspired by a vintage Givenchy design, giving a timeless attitude, with understated lines. Its glass is tinted brown, while the band takes on a woody appearance, marked by gold-toned writing.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson

Bold and tender, strong and gentle, passionate and caring – the Givenchy gentleman is a complicated hero, graciously asserting his uniqueness. This is personified in the advertising campaign by British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who forms one of cinema’s most inspiring power couples with his wife, director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
