Only Alessandro Michele could reanimate the liveliness of the Seventies with such contemporary vigour. For Gucci’s pre-fall 2017 collection, Michele guides the Italian label into the heart of a glamorously retro party. The video campaign aptly titled ‘Soul Scene’ is the label’s first virtual reality film and offers unique views from the centre of the dance floor. The film was released with an interactive 360 point-of-view and showcases the brand’s exploration of various subcultures of the era, most noticeably that of minorities including Hispanics and African Americans.
