New models with intriguing faces, exciting prints and unusual dial designs
Gucci has revealed its latest men’s watches, with timepieces to excite and inspire. First up is the introduction of a completely new line, called Grip, instantly recognisable by the unique rounded square cases, featuring three windows, where each has a rotating disc for the hour, minute or date.
The Grip collection consists of four quartz models, suitable for both men and women. One brings together a yellow gold PVD case and bracelet, engraved with Gucci’s signature interlocking G logo, while another of the same design comes in steel. Two further editions are offered with coloured calf leather straps: green with the steel case, or bordeaux with yellow gold PVD.
Then Gucci is adding two new quartz watches to its G-Timeless contemporary line, each with a print design that combines the dial and the strap. One has a 38mm steel case, and a motif inspired by Gucci’s Kingsnake on the mesh pattern dial and steel mesh bracelet; the 42mm watch uses the striped House Web pattern instead, which runs full circle around the strap. Both models are Swiss made, use sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and are water resistant to 50m.
Finally, the G-Timeless Automatic line is getting a slight revamp, with eight striking new timepieces. Each features a stone dial decorated with bees, a recurring Gucci motif, with an automatic movement, visible through the transparent caseback.
The watches are available with 38mm and 42mm cases, finished in 18kt yellow gold or steel, with a choice of dial and strap combinations. All eight feature sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and are Swiss made.
