February 19, 2019 is a tragic day in the fashion industry as one of its most prolific and loved designers, Karl Lagerfeld, sadly passed away in Paris.

Even with a lot of speculation around the designer’s health, which began earlier this year as he didn’t take a bow during his most-recent Haute Couture show in Paris, Lagerfeld continued to work tirelessly until the end.

His career spans over seven decades and he was most known for creative leadership at the houses of Chanel, Fendi, and his namesake brand.
