Spanish design house Loewe takes a look into the great outdoors to find inspiration for its new collection of functional essentials for the adventurer within. The ready-to-wear collection, entitled Eye/LOEWE/Nature, features a line of functional essentails for men who love nature.
Loewe pictures the Eye/LOEWE/Nature man as someone who is drawn to nature and is inspired to explore the far ends of the earth. Curious by the whys, whats, and wheres that define places, he cares about the quality of what he puts on his body and how they look.
Practical and refined clothes made from technical material and jumpers knit from partly recycled cotton fibre join outerwear, cargo shorts, trousers and shirts in this casual line of apparel, far from the subdued hues of traditional outdoor attire.
The house went to Japan to manufacture the Eye/LOEWE/Nature accessories, which are hand-sewn from high-grade canvas with calfskin trim. High end and practical, the bags feature interior zip pockets for safekeeping of laptops, tablets, and other valuables.
For the line’s campaign, Loewe partnered with British actor Josh O’Connor who travelled to the wilds of Cap de Creus — Spain’s untamed easternmost reaches — to test Eye/LOEWE/Nature in its natural environment.
