Zombieland, Atlantis, The Palm

Resident DJs Greg Stainer and Tom Ferguson will also be on-hand, and guests are invited to wear their scariest costumes. Entry is free, with drinks prizes up for grabs. Call 04 318 1313.

The Loft, Dubai Opera

The rooftop one

While Phantom of the Opera continues to impress at Dubai Opera, The Loft, based at the same location, is hosting a Halloween party themed around the show. The action at this spectacular open rooftop space begins at 9pm – it’s AED299 for unlimited drinks until midnight, or AED398 until 2am, with special gourmet dishes for AED50 each, and a bottle of bubbly to the best costume. Al Sarab, Bab Al Shams

The desert dinner one

Roughly an hour’s drive from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa is celebrating Halloween at its Al Sarab rooftop lounge and restaurant, decked out in spooky decorations. Guests are invited to wear their scariest costumes, with Halloween dishes and drinks for all ages, and music until 1am. A minimum spend of AED185 is required for non-residence guests. It: Chapter Two

The Halloween parade and scary movies one

The waterfront complex by Jumeriah Beach Residence known as The Beach has several activities this Halloween. There is a parade starting at 5pm, making its way from The Beach to Bluewaters, with fun activities for kids too – this also takes place on Friday and Saturday. Then for adults, try the Stephen King marathon from 11pm at Roxy Cinemas, showing It, It: Chapter Two and Pet Sematary.

The Smash Room, Action Park

The action-packed adrenaline one

Last Exit AUH Bound has chosen October 31 as the day to open its new Action Park. The post-apocalyptic pit-stop and food-truck haunt, just outside Dubai on the E11 highway towards Abu Dhabi, is getting a paintball park, an upside-down house and a branch of The Smash Room, allowing you to take out your frustrations on everyday items with a baseball bat or sledgehammer. More attractions will open soon.
