Berluti’s autumn/winter18 show was dominated by introspective luxury, which sines through a collection rich in hidden details. Inspired by Berluti's emblematic Alessandro shoe, the line's seamless outwear was beautifully handcrafted. Nylon jackets and natural leather coats were sleek and sophisticated, with pops of colour appearing in the linings in a nod to the brand's understated eccentricity.
Among MOJEHMEN's standout pieces, an understated reversible black cashmere coat that slyly revealed ivory-hued silk pinstripes inside. Soft sweaters, hand-cut velvet and light tailoring added to the collection's overall casual and relaxed outlook, while the colour palette (dominated by shades of white, camel and black) remained surprisingly modern and rich (thanks to the occasional smear of olive, orange and purple.)
“As time goes by, the wearer’s personality becomes embedded in the clothes so that they become intimate and filled with emotion," concludes creative director Haider Ackermann.
