The TJ 8.0 Heritage Runner
It feels a little strange right now looking at photos of models happily walking around an urban landscape, posing in the latest Tommy Hilfiger gear, when most of us are required to stay indoors. Of course, these images were taken before the coronavirus fears hit.
But we’ll be out patrolling the streets again soon, and we’ll be wanting to look our best when we do. Could a pair of limited-edition TJ 8.0 Heritage Runner sneakers be of interest?
These have been created to mark 35 years of the Tommy Hilfiger brand. Founded in 1985, that means 1,985 pairs will be made available.
Crafted from white leather, the chunky-soled sneaker draws inspiration from a 1990s archive model of the same style. It also features contrasting details in the brand’s signature red, white and blue colour palette, with a subtly-woven metallic lining.
The Tommy Jeans flag is branded on the sturdy mid-sole, as well as embroidered on the shoe’s side. By using the vintage 1990s sneaker silhouette, this is said to pay homage to the brand’s rich heritage, while exuding a modern and fresh, street-style upgrade.
