It starts this week! So where will you be on Thursday, May 30 for the first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup? Get ready for an action-packed six-week tournament, held across 11 stadiums in England and Wales, culminating in the final at Lord’s in London on July 14.

There are 10 teams taking part in a total of 48 matches. The opener is England vs South Africa, starting at 4.30pm local time, with the defending champions, Australia, playing their first match on June 1 at 7.30pm against Afghanistan. Catch India vs Pakistan on June 16 at 4.30pm; England vs Australia on June 25 at 4.30pm; and India vs England on June 30 at 4.30pm.

Dubai is getting into the Cricket World Cup spirit, with plenty of places to watch the matches around town. Here are a few ideas:

Bar Baar

Ireland may not have a team in the Cricket World Cup, but that won’t stop the matches being shown on the large indoor and outdoor screens at The Irish Village in Garhoud.
